• 8:00 am: Depart hotel on bus to the new National Library of Israel 8:45 am - Opening remarks - Stephen Pincus.

• 9:10 am: Israel, a Country at War – Dr. Elan Ezrachi in conversation with Brig. Gen. (Res.) Bentzi Gruber, Adv. Danny Seidemann and Dr. Laura Wharton.

• 10:40 am: Walk to the Supreme Court of Israel.

• 11:10 am: Through the Eyes of the Law - Trevor Norwitz in conversation with Prof. Elyakim Rubinstein on the legal challenges facing Israel in the international arena, the role of the judiciary in Israeli democracy, and prospects for peace.

• 12:30 pm: Lunch.

• 1:00 pm: Bus ride to Alyn Children’s Hospital.

• 1:30 pm: Cultural Competency in Action - visit ALYN Children’s Hospital, explore its innovation center and experience JICC’s cultural competency program, with Orna Shani and Dr. Racheli Ashwal.

• 2:30 pm: Bus ride to Ramat Sharet Community Center.

• 3:00 pm: Haredi and non-Haredi Jerusalem: a Shared Society - meet with Eli Shnapp and Eli Palei for an overview of the Haredi of Communities in Jerusalem, and with Hana Iram from Sisters of Steel.

• 5:00 pm: Bus ride to the hotel and rest period.

• 6:30 pm: Walk together to dinner at Joy Restaurant, Mamilla Mall.

• 8:00 pm: The Day After - a peek into the minds of a journalist, a researcher, and a social activist: Anshel Pfeffer, Ofir Dayan and Hiba Iselah - moderated by Mark Kedem.
